Notes when renting:

  1. You will usually want to find a place where you can have children’s meetings along with the regular meetings.
  2. Try to reserve the hall so you can leave your sound equipment up during the entire time you are there.  If this is not possible, try to get a room in the building where you can safely store the equipment when you have to take it down.  Ask about a piano if you plan to use one.
  3. Once you’ve selected a hall, make a contract with the facility and have them list in the contract the exact dates that you’ll be using the hall.  Then pay 25% of the price to lock in the contract.  This is critical in order to prevent the hall from changing dates, canceling any of the meetings, or trying to move you to another room.
